GREAT NEWS….. Ducky is HOME!!! Today Ducky joined Terri and Chris Affield of Crystal Lake, IL. He also joins a K-9 brother named Bear. Ducky is a 6 month old rescue from the streets of New Delhi, India. Thank you to Meredith Allen for rescuing Ducky giving her such loving care in India. Thank you to Tom and Margaret Moreau for fostering Ducky in Chicago while she waited to find her family. Ducky is a very lucky dog to be joining such an amazing family. She will get lots of playtime in their fenced in yard with Bear and long walks in beautiful Crystal Lake. Most importantly she will be loved and cherished. Terri fell in love with Ducky from the pictures and when she met Ducky she knew that she was the one they had been looking for to join their family. Ducky took to both Terri and Chris right away and not long after arriving Ducky curled up at Chris’s feet for a nap as if knowing she was laying in the safety of her new dad. Thank you Terri and Chris for opening your hearts and home to this precious girl. Pre-

Ducky is a beautiful young girl rescued from the streets of New Delhi, India. She loves people and other dogs. She is very affectionate. She weighs approximately 15 pounds. Ducky was first seen in March 2015 by local feeder of street dogs, Lata and Deepak. On the second occasion she was spotted looking very thin and “lost” – it was then that Lata and Deepak realized she had been separated from her mom. On the third occasion they saw her she was wandering dangerously close to a busy street and that was when they knew she had to be brought to safety or her survival odds would have been slim to none. Luckily ISDF friend Meredith Allen took her in and put her on the road to recovery. She is one of the lucky few that will be given a second chance to lead a healthy, happy and fulfilled life. She will arrive in Chicago on June 16th to find her forever family. When Meredith took Ducky in after being rescued she blossomed in front of her eyes – just so grateful to be safe and loved – she quickly became very affectionate with them and integrated quickly with her pack. She will make an excellent addition to a very lucky family.
