GREAT NEWS…. Frankie (aka Duncan) is officially home!!!
Steve Valentini and Sarah Rodgers of Chicago, IL have made it official!! Steve and Sarah were in a foster to adopt program with Frankie for a little over a month. They have been busy during this time- visits with family members, dog parks and training. They are doing everything good parents do to ensure their dog has the right exposure and training to flourish.
Frankie was born a street dog in New Dehli and came to …the US at just 3 months old looking for her home. Unfortunately things didn’t work out in the first home but her patience paid off. Frankie has found her happiness and her people at long last!
Steve and Sarah say that they love her and she is wonderful with them. She is still a work in progress as most puppies are but they tell me Frankie is very smart and a quick learner.
I know they will share much love and adventure together on their journey. Thank you to Meredith Allen for rescuing this sweet girl and for loving her so much in New Delhi – I know you had a very special bond with Frankie. Thanks to you and so many others she is living a fulfilled life in a loving home. Most importantly thank you to Steve and Sarah for opening your hearts and home to Frankie.
Pre-Adoption Post
Duncan is a happy go lucky 6 month old puppy who was rescued from the streets of New Dehli, India. She was rescued with two of her siblings after one of her sisters was run over by a car. She is currently 28 pounds and likely will be between 35 and 45 pounds when fully grown.
Duncan is a friendly fun loving dog who loves to play. She loves people including children. Duncan’s favorite game is tug of war with other dogs. She also enjoys cuddling and getting pets from her humans. She also enjoys taking naps on her human’s feet and resting her head on their legs. She enjoys car rides and can really jump. She would make a great flyball dog and would do great in agility training. She will be a very loyal and loving companion who will enjoy sharing adventures with an active family. She is very smart and learns very quickly. She is crate trained and knows basic obedience.
