GREAT NEWS….. MASUM IS HOME!! Today she joined David Rinaldi’s family in Chicago, which includes Miss Foxy Brown, a sweet dog meat trade survivor from Thailand. Masum is a 10 month old rescue from the streets of New Delhi, India. She was rescued and helped by Aarti Badwaj and Isobel Grant. Thanks to these amazing Angels she was given a second chance at a happy life – the dream of millions of less fortunate street dogs. A better home could not have been found – David is a long term supporter and friend of ISDF who is not only adopted from us (Foxy Brown) but also regularly volunteers at our adoption events. I couldn’t be happier for David and sweet Masum. Thank you to all who made this miracle possible – especially David Rinaldi!!
Pre-Adoption
Masum (meaning Innocent in Hindi) is a lovely 10 month old girl that was dumped outside a dog boarding facility in New Delhi, India. When found she bleeding from many wounds which were found to be dog bites. Someone had kindly bought her to the center but then left her there without informing anyone.
Masum is now a healthy, fully vaccinated and spayed 10 month old. She is lively and friendly to other dogs and people. Very sweet natured and a gentle dog, she loves to give kisses. Masum is incredibly smart and learned sit, down, stay, and shake in one day and even obeys the commands without treats. She loves to please her human and receive pets and praise.
Masum will be arrived into Chicago on July 3rd to look for her forever home.
