Hugo’s Story …..
MDDB received an SOS from a family one evening more than a year ago that a young dog had been dumped in front of their home. He had a collar on and was pushed out of a moving car. Frightened, the young dog, which MDDB eventually named Hugo, refused to moved and stayed put outside the family’s front gate. Although the fed Hugo, the family could not take him in as his presence agitated their own dogs. MDDB tequested that they bring Hugo to their adoption drive that weekend and the family did as requested. He was then taken to one of MDDB’s regular veterinary vlinics where he was found to have a viral infection. Hugo was treated, vaccinated and neutered before MDDB took him in to be trained and rehabilitated.
Hugo was eager to learn new things and proved to be a quick learner. He enjoys a good romp in the garden and loves to please his caretakers by obeying their commands diligently. Hugo will make a good companion to young children.
Hugo arrives into Chicago this Friday August 5th from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ISDF is excited to welcome him to the US.
