Cutie’s rescue story as written by Akanksha her rescuer

Cutie’s mom is a regular on my daily feeding rounds in Mumbai (Bombay), India.  When she had puppies I made sure that they had their shots and were dewormed. Unfortunately, some people are very cruel to animals; when Cutie was about 4 months old, I found her and two of her siblings shaking violently and throwing up.  I think someone poisoned them.  Her two siblings didn’t make it but Cutie pulled through… she is a survivor. With medical attention and lots of love she has bounced back. Today she is a beautiful girl and healthy girl.  She is affectionate and loves to be around humans.  Cuddling is one of her favorite pastimes.  She has a calm demeanor but also loves to run an play.  She will shower her new family with love and make a wonderful companion. Cutie is a smart girl and will learn the new rules of her home quickly.  She is potty trained and leash trained.

Cutie will be journeying to Chicago with her sister Shiva to find her forever home on February 24th.  In her home country India people don’t generally view street dogs as adoptable pets and so unfortunately overseas adoption is her only hope of happiness.

Cutie is spayed and current on vaccinations.
