This is Beni’s rescue story (As written by rescuer Sonia Heller).
My husband Dieter was on his way to the office early morning in November when he spotted one tiny ball of fur crossing the road. He instantly felt it was now or never and decided to help this tiny pup who was terrorized by the noise of the horns and cars that were brushing past him. Dieter quickly stopped the car to rescue the little one and decided to bring him home. As he was going back to the office, he noticed another pup who apparently was a sibling, wandering among the cars on the same road. Dieter rescued him too and reunited him with his brother. He named them Beni (brown) and Bono (black & tan), as they are both inseparable and constantly looking after each other.
Beni and Bono have grown into two healthy loving pups who’ve easily socialized with our other rescued dogs. They are young and playful but not overly active. Beni enjoys spending time outside playing with his foster friends but also enjoys chilling with his humans. Beni is loving, attentive and very smart. He is ready to find his forever home and share his love with his new family.
Beni will be arrived with his brother Bono on April 26, 2017 from New Delhi, India into Chicago. He is being fostered in Wadsworth, IL. Beni was born to be a loyal companion. He loves to be around his person and has such loving devotion and attentiveness in his eyes. He has a calm demeanor for such a young dog and has excellent house manners. There is nothing not to love about this dog.
