GREAT NEWS….. Pamuk is HOME! Panuk is a rescue from Istanbul, Turkey who traveled to Chicago to find her home.
Today she joined Sean and Patty Donnelly and their daughter Emily of Grayslake, IL.
Sean and Patty were immediately smitten with Pamuk and vice versa. Definitely a case where she picked them – she claimed them as her humans right away and so their new life together starts….❤️
Thank you to Fey Rubeyi and her rescue partners for saving this precious life and giving her this amazing chance to live a fulfilled life. Most of all thanks to Patty and Sean for opening their hearts and home to Pamuk.

1 Year old female
30 pounds
Spayed / vaccinated
This beautiful girl’s name is Pamuk, which means “cotton” in Turkish. She is a
one-year- old golden retriever mix, weighs 30 pounds, and is spayed.
Sweet little Pamuk was hit by a car while she was on her daily walk. Both of her
back legs were broken. She was dropped off at a horrible shelter because her
owner could not afford the high vet bills. Heartbroken and in pain from her open
wounds, Pamuk languished in a dirty cage for a month. She had to share the
cage with other dogs, and she had to survive amongst the dominant dogs who
barely let her eat or sleep. She almost starved to death here until her human
savior found her and she was taken to a vet clinic. She was very happy to be
saved and licked everyone’s face with joy. No matter how much pain she felt, she
never held grudges and was always full of love.
After follow-up examinations and x-rays the vet decided to operate on both of
Pamuk’s back legs. She stayed at the vet clinic for one month, and despite her
condition she wanted to play and run. She loved to hang out with the clinic crew.
Pamuk is extremely playful and friendly to children and adults alike. She loves
other dogs and she is very good with cats. Her best friend is a cat. She is
housebroken and eager to learn more. She loves to play and run.
All of her shots are up-to- date. Pamuk is healthy and strong now. She loves
making new friends and is looking for her forever home.
PUMUK will be traveling May 2, 2017 to Chicago. If you are interested in adopting her please contact us at info@istreetdog.com You can find our adoption application here
