GREAT NEWS…. HERO is HOME. This week Hero joined Theresa and Greg Piquette of Milwaukee, WI
Hero is a Thai DMT who was brought to the US by the amazing Marjon Tandrovi of Give a Dog a Bone.
Hero dazzled them with her loving ways and good behavior. She sat by them for pets, rolled on her belly for scratches, walked like a champ on leash and even sat on the patio off leash calmly as two sand cranes walked yards from her in our yard. What a good girl!! That’s what Theresa and Greg thought too! Moments later the deal was sealed. Hero jumped up and put her paws on the picnic table peering over the Adoption Contract as Theresa signed it as if to ensure it was happening! Soooo cute – of course when we went to photograph it she jumped down. Have to work on the modeling part…. 😉
Thank you to Theresa and Greg for making this sweet girl’s dreams come true. Another life saved. A destiny fulfilled.
You too can save a life…..

Hi – My name is Hero. I am a 6 year old DMT survivor from Thailand. I was adopted to a lovely family in Boston 5 years ago and have been a loved pet for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, my family is no longer able to keep me. I am sad beyond words but am in Chicago now with ISDF and they tell me I will find a loving home again soon.
I am 32 pounds and very affectionate. I am a smart dog and enjoy pleasing my humans. I am potty trained and have very good house manners.
I was rescued by the Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand after the truck I was on was intercepted by Thai Police. I was very lucky to avoid being killed brutally for human consumption. Hopefully I will be lucky again and find my forever home soon.
