GREAT NEWS!! Bobby is HOME!! Bobby joined Kyra and Josh of Mukwonago, WI.
Bobby was born on the streets of New Delhi, India.
Kyra and Josh were looking for just the right companion to join their family. Bobby’s sweet personality won them over …. His cuteness did not hurt either. Bobby already knew basic obedience and Kyra and Josh are both committed to continuing to work with him. They are… looking forward to long walks and lots of fun adventures together.
Soon Bobby will be posing with his new parents in their engagement photos. ??
Thank you to all who have helped Bobby on his journey including Isobel Grant, Anil Anchan, Aarti Bhardwaj and Premlata Choudhary, Ariana Lawrence and Lindsey Phelns Most importantly thank you to Kyra and Josh for making Bobby’s dreams come true.
Introducing Bobby
Hi, my name is Bobby and I am a 6 month old rescue from the streets of New Delhi, India. I am approximately 20 pounds and people say I will most likely be between 35 and 45 pounds when I am full grown.
A gentle soul, Bobby is a calm and chilled out pup, not excitable and does not jump up etc. He’s very much a cuddle bug who loves to sit on a person’s lap and be cuddled. Anil, his foster dad commented, “Bobby is a very handsome desi (street) boy. He is well behaved, playful and sweet natured who is a joy to be with. He is good with other dogs and people and is used to living with other dogs. He arrived into Chicago on June 3rd with Rinki to find his forever home. ISDF is thrilled to welcome this sweet boy to the USA soon. He is currently fostered in Milwaukee, WI. He has a calm temperament which earned him the name of Mr. Cool with his foster family in New Delhi. He is very loving, has great house manners and is so ready to find his family. He has so much to offer and asks for so little in return. Bobby is also very smart and has already learned many basic commands such, as sit, stay, come and down. It is hard to find such a calm puppy. He is a treasure!!

Bobby’s rescue
On 25 February 2016, Isobel received an urgent call from a friend, Jyoti, who explained that a young puppy had entered the building stairwell and she was afraid he would be attacked by the other street dogs if he went back out onto the street. All the street dogs who reside in this street are sterilised and so he wasn’t from this street. We are unsure as to where Bobby was from and have wondered if he was formerly a pet who was dumped as apart from a slight infection, he was not thin or emaciated. Isobel transferred him to Happy Paws Medicare Boarding Centre where he was treated and vaccinated. On 20 March 2016, he was moved into the foster care of Anil who has been looking after him and crate, leash and house training him. He was neutered on 8 May 2016.
