This week Bono joined Shanna Ramage and family of Buffalo Grove, IL. They came with their dog Tank and let him choose his companion. Tank chose Bono and chose well. The two got along really well and have been bonded since.
A new beautiful beginning for this special boy. He has found his place – his family. A joy that I wish every dog could experience. To be loved and to love is the greatest gift ?. He searched a long time and the wait paid off.
You too can save a life.
BONO
From New Delhi, India
This is Bono’s rescue story (As written by rescuer Sonia Heller).
My husband Dieter was on his way to the office one early morning in November of 2016 when he spotted one tiny ball of fur crossing the road. He instantly felt it was now or never and decided to help this tiny pup who was terrorized by the noise of the horns and cars that were brushing past him. Dieter quickly stopped the car to rescue the little one and decided to bring him home. As he was going back to the office, he noticed another pup who apparently was a sibling, wandering among the cars on the same road. Dieter rescued him too and reunited him with his brother. He named them Beni (brown) and Bono (black & tan), as they are both inseparable and constantly looking after each other.
Beni and Bono have grown into two healthy loving pups who’ve easily socialized with our other rescued dogs. They are young and playful but not overly active. A bit shy when meeting people the first time but being curious, they quickly bond with the person they just met. Bono is fond of humans too and loves to engage in playtime with his human friends.
BONO ARRIVED IN CHICAGO FROM New Delhi, India on April 26, 2017. He was adopted right away and now unfortunately he must find a new home. It is a sad situation but he is such an ultra sweet and sensitive boy I know he will find the right forever home. He just wants love! He loves to play with his other foster friends in the yard but also has a very calm side and loves to lounge in the house or his crate. Heck – I think he’s just happy to be alive. You couldn’t go wrong with this dog – he will be eternally grateful to his new family for allowing him to be a part of your family. Get ready to fall in love.
