Cherry was rescued from South Delhi in October 2015. She was about two months-old, and she was suffering from a terrible cough. Cherry joined her first foster family, where she was given great care! The family nursed her back to health; her cough subsided after several weeks. The family loved her but could not adopt her.

Cherry joined her second foster family around December 2015, and she has been with this wonderful family since then! She has received all the love, warmth, and care of a ‘forever home.’
Cherry’s rescuer has searched for an adopter for Cherry, but she could not find a home. In India, there are many rescued, healthy, wonderful dogs, but there are never enough adoptive families to meet the demand.
Cherry is a healthy, vaccinated, sterilized young Desi survivor. She loves people and has a lot of friendly spunk. She is an athletic, medium-sized dog. She has two foster canine siblings, but needs time to warm-up to all new dogs. She is working on basic commands, leash training, and crate training before she travels to the U.S. She will bring a fun, charismatic, loving energy to her Forever Home!
