Dixie’s Story:

A lady was driving in Hammamet a busy town in a Tunisia when a dog crossed the road and nearly got run over by the cars many times.

The lady jumped out her car and picked her up.

A guy came to her and said this is my dog – So she told him to prove it. They went to his house nearby and he took her vaccination book saying that he was ready to sell it to her.

He then agreed to give her the dog for free.

She is a very active dog and would do well in a home with other children and another dog.

Dixie is very sweet and loving.

Dixie was born in September 2015, and she went to the shelter in October 2016

Dixie is arriving in Chicago from Tunisia March 1, 2017
