GREAT NEWS…. TODAY PIPPA (AKA FIZA) FOUND HER HAPPY EVER AFTER … Pippa joined Joe Coughlin and Lauren Finkler of Chicago, IL today and it was a very happy and emotional homecoming. Lauren’s parents were there to welcome Pippa home and everyone loved Pippa – how could you not? It was Lauren’s birthday today and Pippa made the day extra special. When Lauren took Pippa into her arms her eyes brimmed over with tears of happiness. Pippa was rescued from the streets of New Delhi, India at just a few weeks old with her siblings and flew to Chicago last week to find her forever home. Today her dreams came true. Thank you to Sonia Heller, Premlata Choudhary, and Mini Kapoor Seth for rescuing Pippa and making it possible for her to lead a happy and fulfilled life. Most importantly thank you to Joe and Lauren for opening your hearts and home to this sweet girl.

Fiza – (means breeze or fast wind in Hindi) is a very pretty little 3 month old girl rescue from the streets of New Delhi, India. She has a very delicate white line on her nose. Her foster mom describes her as a sweetie pie who is very friendly with both people and other dogs. She likes to play with her siblings and tease them. However she also can be a lap dog and will soak up human affection for as long as you let her.
Fiza was born to a street dog in New Delhi on the side of a very busy street. She was one of 6 pups. Her mother did her best to care for them and make sure they were fed. However, it’s hard to keep pups safe once they can walk from the speeding traffic and tragically one day one of her siblings was struck by a car. Mini Seth who had been keeping an eye on the pups found the mother hovering over the still warm body of her puppy. Mini picked up the pup and the mom seemed relieved as if she thought Mini could bring her back to life. Little did she know Mini was picking up the body only to bury her. Mini tried to put them in an enclosure so they could not reach the street but they quickly began to jump the enclosure putting them at risk. In early May, Mini collected the pups, brought them to a vet to be treated and then on to Sonia Heller’s house for fostering. Two of the female dogs were adopted in Canada. The 3 left, Ravi, Sayba, and Fiza stayed with Sonia until July 21st when they left for Chicago to find their loving forever homes.
