GREAT NEWS….. JUPITER IS HOME.

Jupiter joined Colleen Chuipek of Salem, WI and now is living the dream.

Jupiter had a rough life up until now. He was rescued from the barbaric dog meat trade in 2013 and has lived at ElfesWorld since then at an outdoor dog sanctuary on the island Koh Samui. He now knows the joy of being a pampered pet and having his own human. Colleen has a flexible work schedule and takes him with her most of the time so he has a very interesting life and lots of time with Colleen. He is making up for all the years he yearned for human interaction… 😉

Thank you to all those who helped Jupiter along the way especially to Elisabeth Feigl (Elfe) for giving him such loving care all these years at Elfes World. Elisabeth works so hard so that all of her dogs are well taken care of and hopes and dreams that all of them end up in loving homes like Jupiter has.

Pre-Adoption Rescue Story

My name is Jupiter. Yes, that’s right…Jupiter! The largest planet in our solar system by far: kind of like ME! I am a loving, energetic boy with an outgoing and outsized personality!

And ironically, Juputer is also the planet that was dubbed “the wandering star” for centuries. Ironic, because it looks like I am about to wander farther than I ever dreamed possible. Soon, I will leave behind my home country and life at Elfesworld dog sanctuary to embark on a journey to a new beginning, and an amazing new life in the USA.

I was lucky enough to survive the perilous dog meat trade, one of a handful of my peers who actually made it out alive. Having been through all that, I can truly now say that my motto is “go big (big, like Jupiter the planet!) or go home” – and if luck is on my side, I pray that one day very soon, I actually will “go big AND go home”…at long last.
