Hello! My name is Manisha, and I’m a stunning, black and white, 6 month old girl from Sur, Oman. I share my name with the Hindu Goddess of the mind, and it’s meaning—-intellect and desire—-suits me perfectly! At my core, I’m a smart girl with big dreams, and my biggest is to find a loving home with you!
When I was just a little puppy, I was separated from my mother and siblings and abandoned by the side of a road. For most puppies in Oman, that would be the end to their life’s sad story, but for me, it turned into a whole new beginning! I was saved by a kind soul, an animal advocate committed to helping Oman’s dogs. She brought me to her safe and cheery home, and took me with her on long walks by the beach.
I like to think that my rescuer and I share certain special qualities; I am kind and friendly to all people and other dogs, and open to new experiences. I soak up all of the love and attention I get, and have lots of energy to go around. I come naturally well-dressed for a black tie party, but I’m up for rolling around and getting wet and dirty too. My favorite things include playing fetch and enjoying fruit treats. I must admit that I love to chase cats too. I’m already potty trained and spayed, and just an all-around happy and healthy puppy. I love children as well as adults, and I think it would really fun to grow up with human siblings. I’d thrive in an active home where I can spread my wings and soar!
My foster mom here in Sur, who has provided me with so much sweet attention, tasty food, and mountains of love, must leave the county soon. After having no luck in finding me a local home in Oman, she decided it was time for me to leave the country too. My vaccinations are all up to date, my microchip is in, and my medical records are ready to accompany me on my travels. I’m so excited to become a new American, and you can be sure, I’ll relish all that lies ahead in store!
