GREAT NEWS…. Minnie is HOME. Minnie is a rescue from the streets of Turkey. She has joined Jody Galloway and her daughter Sophie of Sheboygan, WI.
Jody, Sophie, and Barb (Jody’s mom) came to meet Minnie and a couple other dogs and…. Minnie won their hearts with her sweet and charming personality. She choose them and made sure they knew it. ?❤️
Thank you to Fey Rubeyi and many others who have helped Minnie along the way. As always it’s only through the efforts of many that allow these miracles to happen.
You too can save a life.

Rescue story as written by rescuer.
Minnie was rescued while she was scrounging for food on the streets
of a Turkish village where dogs are routinely shot, poisoned and
otherwise tormented by the villagers. She was so hungry that she ate
whatever she found on the street. There were orange peels and
scraps of plastic in her feces. She was taken home, given plenty of
TLC, and then taken to a vet for spaying and vaccinations.
Unfortunately, nobody wanted to adopt her in Turkey because she is
not a pure-bred dog. Many people are prejudiced and only pay
attention to appearances, but they do not realize the great hearts and
souls that these homeless mutts possess. Street dogs are considered
“not adoptable” in Turkey, and the streets cannot be a home for any
of those dogs. Minnie, who was rescued from the streets, was going
to go back to the streets if it not for ISDF who opened their heart to
bring her all the way to Chicago. She stayed in a foster home in
Istanbul until the day of her flight.
Minnie is one year old and weighs 22 pounds All of her shots are
complete. She is a healthy and extremely loving little girl. She gets
along well with other dogs and cats. She loves to lie down and to be
petted, and she lives for her daily walks and playtime. Are you ready
to open your heart and your home to this lovable mutt who will fly
thousands of miles just to be with you?
