GREAT NEWS……Neena aka Nina is HOME! Nina was rescued from the streets of New Delhi, India.
She recently joined Colleen Herzog and Arthur Don of Chicago, IL.
Colleen was drawn to Neena’s beauty and called to inquire. Neena is a shy girl and had a fear of strangers and so Colleen and Arthur visited her on numerous occasions and gained her trust little by little until they knew that she was “the dog”. They saw her potential and knew she would flourish with their love and care.
Often times that’s all that is needed… love and patience and it’s remarkable the transformation that occurs. There is nothing that is more rewarding. I wish more people shared Colleen and Arthur’s attitude… they weren’t just concerned with what a dog could offer them but what they could offer a dog and what dog needs them the most. NEENA NEEDED THEM!
Can’t wait to see her flourish in her new home.
Thank you to Sonia and Dieter Heller for rescuing this sweet girl and her brother Milou – she is alive today because of them.
Thank you Colleen and Arthur for giving Neena such a loving home and believing in her.

Nina’s Story:
We noticed Milou, Nina and another sibling wandering a busy road nearby our place in New Delhi, India. One of the siblings tragically died, crushed by speeding cars. We jumped out to save the two and took them home. At the time of their rescue, they were tiny skinny pups, about 3 months old and covered with fleas.
Luckily they have grown into happy healthy well balanced dogs who enjoy life and lots of playtime with their other rescued friends. Nina is a sweet and inquisitive girl. She enjoys to play with other dogs and hang out with her humans. She has a lovely temperament and will make a loyal, loving companion to a very lucky family. Did I mention she is a petite little beauty queen with very expressive eyes?
Nina arrived mid-February into Chicago to look for her forever home.
