GREAT NEWS…. SASHA IS HOME!!!

Today Sasha joined Kirsten and Dan Smith of Williams Bay, WI

Sasha is a rescue from Malaysia who was actually rescued from an neglectful owner when she was 2 years old by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better. She was matted and filthy and skin and bones. She was hit by a car at one point however her bone healed well and doesn’t slow her down today. It is safe to say that Sasha is one of the friendliest dogs who will just melt if you let her.

Jon and Kirsten were ready to add a dog to their loving family. They wanted to offer a loving home to a dog in need. Well that is exactly what Sasha needs and has waited for so very long to find. Another dream come true!

Thank you MDDB for rescuing Sasha and working so hard to give Sasha a better life.

Most importantly thank you to Dan and Kirsten for welcoming Sasha into your lives and loving her!

Sasha’s Story -as told by Melinda Joy – rescuer from MDDB

Sasha is a very sweet 3 years old girl who is vaccinated and spayed.
Sasha was rescued as a 7 months old puppy from the streets of Ulu Tiram, Johor.   At the time of the rescue, she had broken hind legs, one of which was an older injury. According to the vet she somehow managed to get herself hit by vehicles twice at two different times. As a result of injuries, she has a funny walk but perfectly functional walk and run. She spent a year under foster care before getting adopted. Unfortunately, days later the adopter decided a dog was too much work and returned Sasha. Sasha has been with us ever since.  With hope dwindling and very little odds of finding a home in Malaysia – the decision has been made to bring her to Chicago to find her forever home.  She has been through so much and waited so long to find her happiness.  It is time to make this little girl’s dreams come true.
