Phantom and Christine had a bittersweet departure as they said goodbye to their caregivers in India to make the long journey to Chicago in search of their forever homes. Although very young they have had a rough start to life and been through much hardship and change…. from street to a number of different foster homes in New Delhi… and now they are boarding a big scary metal bird with all sorts of loud unfamiliar noises for a very long journey. However, wonderful new lives await them when they land. ISDF will be waiting with open arms to welcome these precious babies to the US. They are in route to Amsterdam where they will overnight at the airport before making the final leg of the journey on Thursday. Please wish them safe journeys. They are definitely traveling on the wings of love.
