Awesome is now named Ringo and Stephanie fell in love instantly. She said “He is Perfect” within moments of meeting him. He charmed her right away and wouldn’t leave her side.
Thank you to all who helped this sweet boy – especially Seonae Du of Last Chance for Korean Dogs. He has been given a gift that most Street dogs will never get. The chance for love and happiness.

I’m a year old and only 12 pounds but I’m not considered a small dog or a purebred, just a cute (if I may say so myself) cinnamon colored jindo/spaniel mix with eyes like dark jewels. Take a look into them and fall in love with me. I was stuck in a terrible high-kill shelter, which was still better than if the meat men had found me where I would have been tortured before being slaughtered or thrown alive into the boiling pot for dog meat soup. My luckiest day was when Seonae Du from Last Chance for Korean Dogs came into the shelter and focused on just me! I was so scared I couldn’t lift my head to look at her, and my body was shaking all over. She had come to this shelter many times but had never seen such sad eyes as I had. Seonae liked how kind I was, and my small size being only 12 pounds. Being a mixed boy, I’m sadly not popular in Korea, so now I will have my chance to be a loved family pet in a wider world. Someone, please fall in love with me, I will love you back forever and be the sweetest happiest boy you could ever ask for. Don’t forget my name, it’s Awesome, and well, if I do say so myself, I am.
