GREAT NEWS…. LUCY (AKA HONEY) IS HOME!!!
Today Lucy’s foster parents, Krystal and Patrick Blesi, have become her parents.

A joyous day it is … Today a union made in heaven was made official. Krystal and Patrick have been looking for a long time to find the right dog to welcome into their family. Likewise, Honey has waited a long time to find her own family, enduring much hardship at the public shelter she resided at in Thailand. Today both of their searches have ended. In Krystal’s words “We are absolutely in love with Lucy and there’s no way we could part with her!”

Thank you to Patarin Phadungsiputh for rescuing this sweet girl. And most importantly, thank you to Krystal and Patrick for welcoming Lucy into your home and hearts.

Pre-Adoption Post

I am a 2 year old female rescue from Thailand weighing approximately 25 pounds.  I have been told I resemble a little fox. I also have a unique ridgeback.   I was rescued from a public shelter named Ban Mah Loy Pae, which translates to a house of abandoned dogs. It is in Saraburi Province.  Over 400 dogs live here and life was very rough while I was there.
Luckily a sweet lady named Patarin Phadungsiputh came to visit one day and decided to take me out of this horrible existence and try to find me a better life.  She took me to Bangkok where I was neutered and received medical treatment.  I am now a healthy spry gal waiting to start my new life.  I can be a little shy after all I have experienced in my short life but I will come around if shown love and patience. I am good with other dogs.  I am a very sweet loving little girl once you get to know me and I love to cuddle.
I am cage trained and have very good house manners.
I arrived into Chicago with Singto on October 26th.  If you are interested in adopting me please contact Dawn Trimmel at 414-426-4148
