GREAT NEWS…. Little Miss Mini is officially HOME!!! Mini is a rescue from the streets of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Mini has been fostered with Elaine and Dominic of Huntley, IL and today they officially made her a part of their family! Mini now has a K-9 brother named Baxter and they have become very good friends. They cuddle together on their dog bed and enjoy time playing together. Elaine tells me that Mini loves to spend time outside lounging on their deck.
I am so hap…py that Mini has finally found her “people” and her place in the world where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her life.
Thank you to MDDB for rescuing this sweet girl and giving her a second chance and of course thank you to Elaine and Dominic for making her dreams come true.

My name is Mini and this is my story
Little Mini has come a long way since her street dog mum frantically dragged her and her six siblings to safety during a raging tropical storm in a small town called Triang in the state of Pahang, Malaysia. The mother dog had given birth in swamp earlier in the day after not being able to find a suitable place to have her babies.
This is because, just like the rest of Malaysia, Triang too was quickly developing and construction sites sprouted in places that were once were ideal shelter spots for street dogs and cats. So when the torrential rain waters began to submerge the swamp, the mother dog frantically ran to the house of a lady who feed the streets dogs in the area daily and whimpered begging for help. The kindly lady, who regularly donated to rescue group Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB), opened her gate to allow the dog in. Instead of coming in, the mummy dog ran off and came back clutching a screeching and wet puppy in her mouth and placed it under the lady’s parked car. Within the next 10 minutes, the dog returned with two more puppies and by morning, there were seven puppies under the car. The Good Samaritan then took care of the puppies and vaccinated them at seven weeks before handing them over to MDDB. She neutered the mother and is taking care of her back in Triang. Meanwhile, all of Mini’s siblings were adopted except for the little girl, as being the runt of the litter, she was somewhat small, skinny and had some skin issues to boot. However, all these minor issues were taken care of after Mini was placed under foster care where she lived with two boisterous male dogs. Mini learnt many tricks from her two foster brothers and in no time – she was able to run faster and play longer as well as acquire a bigger appetite than the two boys. That is when Mini started to grow and is currently a strapping six month old puppy weighing 13 pounds. What was once a dull coat has now been replaced with a shiny thick white and brown coat with shines after a good shampoo. Personality wise, Mini is a loving and happy go lucky puppy. We believe she will bring much joy to the person or family that will open their homes and hearts to her.
Mini is being fostered in Wonder Lake, IL and is an absolute joy to have around. She is 6 months and is only 13 pounds. Although she will probably fill out more she won’t get much bigger. She is cage trained and has wonderful house manners. She is a puppy and has lots of puppy energy she also has a calm chill side and is not very vocal. She is very sweet with people and loves to cuddle. She gets along well with other dogs. She is a gem!! Mini is spayed, current on vaccinations and cage trained.
