The global pandemic has created crisis for humans and animals around the world. Street dogs are generally very territorial. This is largely because it is deemed a safe place as they know the dangerous and the resources. The resources tend to be friendly food vendors who supply them with food. In many countries, there are extensive networks of street dog feeders which many street dogs have come to depend on for survival. With the world largely closed down and movement restricted many dogs’ food sources have been cut-off.
An already dog vulnerable population is now suffering and dying at rates none of us could have imagined. Many of ISDF’s Rescue Partners around the World are stepping up and finding creative ways to get at risk dogs fed. However, dog food cost is very high in most of the countries partner with and so they need our help now more than ever. Here’s how you can help. Donate directly to the International Street Dog Foundation or directly through one of the following reputable rescue groups.
