Abby Jones was voted in as Secretary Director of ISDF on September 4, 2015 and ISDF is thrilled to have her on board. Her passion towards helping street dogs and her legal and corporate background, including serving on the Best Friends Animal Society Board make her the perfect addition to our team. We are very excited to work with Abby to continue our work helping street dogs around the world.
A little more about Abby in her words.
“ I’ve been a lawyer for nearly 30 years. I am currently in-house with a company based in Denver. I am the VP of Compliance and Corporate Secretary. I vice-chair on the board of Best Friends Animal Society. I have traveled in several parts of Asia and in other countries with street dogs and I have been profoundly affected by the issues they face. My daughter just returned from a year-long Fulbright Research Grant in India and I visited several times, so I have a particular affection for Desi Dogs, but I love all dogs.”

I too love street dogs and currently have been feeding them for past one month. Sometimes the number reaches upto 5 or somtimes 3. I wish best luck for Mrs. Aby Jones for her upcoming assignments. I would certainly like to meet her personally once since she has deep love for our Desi dogs. Who says that our mother earth lacks with good people. People like Mrs. Jones and so on will always be torch bearer and show the common people a true motive of life. In my view nothing can yield true happiness but selfless love, affection and care for every creature can yield the same. I now have discovered the true happiness since I have started my new relation with these creatures.
