Smilla’s Rescue Story:

Psst….I have a secret superpower. If you are having a bad day, look at me, and I’ll snap you out of it with my sunbeam smile and special ears! My spirit’s so bright, you’d never guess I’d had my share of dark days too.

I am a 4 ½ year old native Thai mixed-breed dog with a snow white coat, warm brown eyes, and a shiny black nose. At 32 pounds, I’m not too large or too small. My big pointy bat ears can be hard to see, because every kind look or word aimed my way sends them down and back, making me look like a little white Lab. I’m easy-going, very loving, but not demanding.

I was rescued from the dog meat trade while still a puppy, and brought to Elfe’s World, Elisabeth Feigl’s dog sanctuary on the beautiful Thai island of Koh Samui, in October of 2013. While I’m good with all dogs, sometimes bossier types are mean to me, so I live in an enclosure with the other sweeties. What I really crave is my own human family, it’s overdue!, so I’m flying to America on September 16, 2017.  My superpower will only get stronger when I find my forever home.
